Commemorating 50 years of reproductive rights

Exhibition Design | Visual Identity | Advocacy Campaign

This exhibit examines the public health and political transformation that occured as a result of the passing of the historic ruling of Roe V. Wade. 2023 will mark 50 years since its passing, yet the ruling has never been more in danger. By humanizing the issue, the exhibit details the ruling and the effects it has on reproductive rights in the United States today.

Note: This project was completed prior to the overturning of Roe v. Wade in June of 2022 - and was created in hopes of raising awareness of the gravity of the situation surrounding its potential collapse. To help support the right to abortion access nationwide, see more information at the National Network of Abortion Funds here: https://abortionfunds.org

Political advocacy in the nation’s capitol

The Roe V. Wade: 50 Years Exhibit also features an outdoor portion on the National Mall in Washington D.C. with the goal of educating tourists, influencing Congressional staffers, and encouraging attendance at the main exhibit at the National Museum of American History.

The exhibit features interactive elements such as this one where exhibit goers can listen to the words of the Supreme Court hearings of the Roe V. Wade case.
